Isn't meeting real people who like the same music as you
great?
We had a new lad start today at work,Warren.
We got talking after a while, and I metioned music,he asked
me what I like and I said the usual"oh music,it doesn't
matter you won't know any of the names."
Anyway he mentioned Radiohead and Sigur ros and Pink
Floyd, well,I almost hugged the guy.He also said" ever heard
of autechre?"

Brilliant!Although he has only heard Windolicker by Aphex
Twin, and has heard of no other Electronica artist.Shame.I
shall introduce him to them....

I'm gonna try and get him on this site....break him in.

It really excites me when people speak my language.

Sometimes when I walk down town and I get on the Main
street/High Street I feel like shouting "who likes aphex
twin!?"

I just wonder if I ever sit next to someone on a bus who
likes my kind of music....

It's an errand boy, sent by grocery clerks, to collect a
bill.

Never happens to me. My only link to the kind of music I
like is really over the net.

Then again... maybe I'm not looking hard enough. The fact
that I avoid social situations like the plague may have
something to do with this.

*goes into thinking position

That wasn't a real person.

Its just that you are so lonely you thought him up and
imagined him. I am afraid you are living a lie.

It just gets worse from here on out for you TonePu5her.
Soon, you will be eating your own feces and calling it cake,
and having sexual relations with 300 pound plus women who
you think are underwear models, and sadly, you will be
convinced to be on the bottom.

yeah, i know what you mean... it is great to turn people on
to good music, too. i am getting my brother into music has
the right to children, and i got him into pat metheny group
before. he got me into the beatles and rush... that's
cool.

good story: this past summer, i met up with a friend of
mine whom i hadnt seen for about 10 years, and it turns out
he is a huge fan of aphex, boc, autechre, and so on. wicked
stuff. to the point that when i was with him, i felt like i
didnt know squat about these bands i thought i knew inside
and out.

I have met people who like Aphex Tein supposedly...but I
question how much they like him when they say their favorite
songs are the tetris remix and outside violin solo (which is
a cool song I think)

most people that I meet that like AFX like the harsher stuff
he does, like classics and come to daddy.
