[REFLEX] from Canada on 2001-04-09 22:46 [#00002987]

I don't know if that such a good idea

Aron? from Canada on 2001-04-09 23:22 [#00002990]

It would probally get really f*cking anoying after awhile!

hevquip from horse's foot on 2001-04-09 23:39 [#00002993]

are you talking about an actual nintendo gameboy or a record
label? hope it's the latter...

[REFLEX] from Canada on 2001-04-09 23:59 [#00002994]

if its the first.. then that would be rather.. er uhm...
great.. yeah thats it.. crappY!

780-fa(y-ghap) from Phasane on 2001-04-10 14:49 [#00003042]

hmm... it was a joke.

od on 2001-04-10 15:08 [#00003043]

i reckon thatd be wicked
but megaman 3 covers would be better.

[REFLEX] from Canada on 2001-04-10 15:28 [#00003048]

No No No,, Megamen 2.. Would be better.

780-fa(y-ghap) from Phasane on 2001-04-10 18:07 [#00003051]

i reckon "sirius" would be the game of choice to remix. but
it´s on nes though.

Did anyone see that art exhibition in Liverpool last year,
with the customised gameboy? I think it toured. Anyway, the
artist had programmed a cartridge for this gameboy, and it
just threw out nonsense graphics and random sounds when you
pressed the buttons. The operating system was deliberately
counter-intuitive and full of bugs, but if they'd
mass-produced them, I would have bought a Gameboy for it.
Anyway, my point is that it would be a shame not to include
some interactivity in your gameboy music. Not like that crap
playstation thing with the dolphin, though.

hedtwin from manchester on 2001-04-11 00:14 [#00003081]

wow, we have the best conversations!!!! I agree, if they had
mass manufactured that gameboy cartridge, i would also have
bougth a game boy just for tha one game!! Much better than a
walkman, cause u coudl just get on teh bus with it and a
some headphones and rendomly press buttons and just have teh
time of your life! Sorry, i am gettign a bit carried away,
wow, i want to see this game boy thing now!!! Do u remember
what the exhibition was called?

[REFLEX] from Canada on 2001-04-11 00:49 [#00003085]

780-fa(y-ghap): SIRUS? was that like escape or return to
SIRUS for NES? cause I had that game.. waaaaayyyy back in
the day, and it was my favourite by far!!!! THATS THE SHIT!

What you can do is gather all the really, more horrible
sounding devices and make something really sinister.
Gameboy, Speak and Spell, translators, alarm systems, metal
detectors, etc. Maybe something ambient.

A Game Boy Ambient Album, is a great Idea, even if it sounds
silly, but the outcome would be intresting !!

I am working on an ep of video game music.

Its temporarily labeled the Variations of a Bondage Bed Ep.
I have all the songs losely arranged and shit now.

Its not terribly ambient tho. Altho it has some fairly nice
floaty pads an shit.
