It has sold out already if you don't believe me checkout
http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/glastonbury/. I know it is the
1st of April today, but that would be a bit of a mean joke
even for the BBC. All I can say is I am glad I bought mine
before I went down the pub last night.

I just heard that too. Although it doesn't appear that many
bands have actually confirmed their appearance yet. Is teh
Twin playing Glasto this year?

thatll be all the theives gettin tickets before the punters,
the robbing crews where gutted they couldnt get in last
year. they make an absolute fortune from it.

Nobody knew for sure about it last year until that weekend.
In the official program it said TBC in the slots that Pusher
& AFX played. All it said on the blackboard @"The Glade' was
Warp DJ's. So I went and checked it out.

They haven't confirmed any of the dance acts yet. I just
hope I am not in a soggy field surrounded by 100,000
miserable Radiohead fans.

I still go I even if I didn't watch any bands at all.

eBay will probably be rife with tickets. But Glastonbury
always sells out the quickest, even with Reading and Leeds
you have some leeway.

It is going to be expensive if so many people are desperate
to go, three, four, five times the face value?

aint that the sad truth! man im sooooo gutted its untrue,
cant be assed with any of the other festivals as glasto
kinda makes them redundant, none of the others come close.

I am so fucking pissed off about this shit!! There are
already hundreds of tickets on E-Bay going for shitloads.

Although I have heard a rumour (from the glastonbury MB)
that anyone selling them on E-Bay will get the tickets
cancelled and money refunded... so they maybe on sale
again.

Fingers crossed!

They said that about the Radiohead tickets, and they're all
still up there.

Isn't it like £100 now? Forget that. Festivals are meant to
be about free love and bad food, not £100 tickets and
massive walls.

wankers.

You can't expect a festival the size of Glastonbury to be
free! It just wouldn't work.
And I'm more than happy to pay £100+ to go there, its an
awe inspiring event, unlike anything else in this country
(probably the world), and its a miricle that is still able
to carry on.

I'm sure it is amazing... i'd love to go.

Is it impossible to get over / through holes in the fence? I
heard there are dodgy geezers with holes dug letting people
thru for £20

Nah, they've stopped all that now allegedly. Only person I
knew who got in for free last year was a girl from my local
who hid in the back of a beer delivery van (the driver
knew).

Not anymore apparently.
I been twice without a ticket. We just paid some scousers
£20 and they stamped our hand which was enough to get in.
Thats how most people got in before. Can't do that anymore.
When you arrive with your ticket you get a wrist band, half
of another ticket, and something else, and you have to have
all of them if you wanna go in or out... bit of a hastle but
made things a hell of alot less crowded than before. Also,
you can't get within about 5 miles of the site without a
ticket, unless you're a member of the special forces...
don't think many of them will be up for it this year!

If tickets sell that quick I don't get why the organisers
don't hike the prices themselves... it's a bitch when they
go through all the hassle organising it then some tout
****er hikes the price. It's people like that that meant I
ended up paying 400% the cover price to see leftfield :/

I used to go to Pheonix festival, that was pretty good, saw
some good ambient / dance type stuff there, early days.

I am the only one going? No dance or techno has been
released in the line-up yet. Unless you are the sad kind of
person who counts moby.
