Sometimes when I feel like killing someone, I do a little trick to calm myself down. I'll go over to the persons house and ring the doorbell. When the person comes to the door, I'm gone, but you know what I've left on the porch? A jack-o-lantern with a knife stuck in the side of it's head with a note that says "You." After that I usually feel a lot better, and no harm done. |

at school we swapped mouses, keyboards + monitors over in the computer room. the little year 7s didnt know what had happened, they started trying to find which mouse moved 'their' cursor, or even which keyboar would write on 'their monitor', even tho it might not have actually been their monitor. the funniest bit was when they got stressed and pressed the POWER button to reset their computer, but it wasnt their screen that turned off - it was the person's next to them that did!! hahaha, their faces :) the confusion :D we wrote "APRIL FOOLS" in all of the login pages, so they must've realised at some point. |

He he, years ago in school me and a mate used the printscreen function and paint to make a fake virus window. We put that on top of a copy of the desktop and did a fullscreen preview. We then unplugged the mouse and keyboard and retired to the other side of the room. It was hilarious. Our inept (and Jedi Chris can vouch for this, he has met her...) network administrator dealt with the situation in an utterly logical manner: She unplugged the network cable from the back of the machine (in the process failing to notice that the mouse&keyboard were unplugged). She covered the whole PC (monitor included) in what appeared to be an old curtain... 3 days later she uncovered it and plugged it all back in. Unsuprisingly it was "cured". I wonder if she tried her "bed rest" method to solve virus problems in her subsequent jobs... I don't even think it was April fools, we were just being little gits :D |

my latin teacher had a cd player in her class. one day i got the idea to burn a cd that had 30 minutes of silence and then it would kicked into some techno. i brought my blacklight to her class and plugged it up in the back where she wouldn't notice. i put the cd in at the beginning of class and 30 minutes later my friend got up to go blow his nose but was really just gunna turn off the light. the song starting playing and he flicked off the light and i turned on the blacklight and we just started dancing in the middle of class. everyone was just shocked and my teacher was just staring at us. then she started laughing. i thought that was a pretty good idea. |

He he, my mate (same one helped me do the fake virus) did a simpler version of that with a tape in our music class. I can't remember what it was that played, but it was hilarious. Only me and him knew who'd done it so we just kept quiet. |
