 | can you please describe the starting sequence? that pounding granulated shit, what can you tell about it in
terms of musical tech? do you see it from inside enough to
tell me about it? how was it made?

 | it was probably made using their nord synth or MAX/Msp (www.cycling74.com)

its mostly FFT synthesis, and delay manipulation. the cool
thing about it really is the sequencing, the sounds
themselves are not to difficult to attain. its mutates and
twists alot, which basically means its got very detailed and
delicate sound manipulation and sequencing manipulation
(both of which are probably algorithmic of some sort).

 | also, its compressed beyond belief, i will draw a diagram of its compression.

 | it might do you good to have a look at the actual waveform of GG in something like cooledit...that can give you quite
an insight into some of the complexity....

(especially if you're a total sound nerd like me...;)..

There's also a brilliant MIT book out called Microsound
which covers this sort of thing...might be worth checking
that out ..can't recall how much it costs but libraries can
 order it for ya....
