First off: Since your new at this, feedback helps, but not
as much as practice. Keep making song after song, and
compare them to your older songs to see how much you've
improved. Listen to your songs a lot, and try to pick out
whats good, and what sucks. I listened to both your tracks
and i can tell you have potential, you've got the right
ideas, just keep working on them, and making them the best
they can be.

I'm not one to talk but I found out how nice the simple
technique of using multiple sounds as if they were the same
sound together recently. Orange might use this to make the
sounds more colorful. Also try playing it at a slower speed
and dicing it up smurf style.
