I'd be willing to sign an online form of sorts, maybe if we
had some stats of the people petitioning (aka people saying
where they are from and stuff) warp could then deecide if
it's worth, lets just say, re-releasing it in the UK or US
depending on demand, that way they know hwere It'll sell and
will be more likely to take a risk in re-releasing HAB 1 &
2,.....

If you went to see Richard and he played it he would be
using MP3's his on laptop with NI Traktor DJ Studio. You
have to learn to start letting the vinyl go. If Richard can
I am sure you can. [Pause] I was just mixing 'Talking
Children' and 'Custodian Discount' together right then in
the pause. Speed the buggers up and sit back in the warm
glow of your instant results, Nice dependable and Solid AFX
Gabba everytime.

of it. I did it. great quality+printed out the 12"label for
the cover:) But yeah I would love to get HAB 1 on vinyl.

you sound certain there will be a repress! why not keep the
original? or swap it for the vastly superior hab 1.

offline phiz from Liverpool (United Kingdom) on 2003-03-29 12:40 [#00623077]
Points: 2622 Status: Lurker

bound to be a repress, just look at whats been re-pressed
lately.
Caustic window, AB3, High Scores, bound to happen soon i
think.

i think the artist themselves must see the silly prices
being paid on ebay and think fuck it, re-press it, then they
benefit instead of some money grabbing cunt on ebay.

offline dave_g from United Kingdom on 2003-03-29 12:44 [#00623085]
Points: 3372 Status: Lurker | Followup to phiz: #00623077

yeah i was thinking the same when i saw all the repressings
coming out of warp, but i think they will do cd only repress
of hab 1/2 or slightly different vinyl versions? that way
the originals would be rare and worth something still.
imagine if you spent loads on one on ebay, only a year later
you could buy a 12" for a tenner. not really fair is it, but
then again only 2000 copies or however many it was isnt very
fair either!

offline phiz from Liverpool (United Kingdom) on 2003-03-29 12:46 [#00623094]
Points: 2622 Status: Lurker

imagine the people who paid 700 dollar for them BoC High
Score originals, crazy.

offline AlbertoBalsalm from Reykjavík (Iceland) on 2003-03-29 12:47 [#00623098]
Points: 9459 Status: Lurker

fuck fairness, i want all of them tracks on one cd. they
ebay buyers can cry all they want for not feeling special
anymore :)

no matter how many people sign this, nothing will be done
about re-releasing these two EPs unless the twin himself
approves it... sending this to warp won't help.. it's not up
to them

theo is right. warp have said in the past that they give the
artists a lot of leeway as to which releases should be
limited, and how limited they should be. there is no way hab
would be reissued if rdj didn't want it reissued.
and frankly, i think seeing a petition like this would make
him fall around laughing rather than all of a sudden feel
guilt-ridden that not everybody has a nice copy of a couple
of his old records.
