God I love that film. Anyone else into the beatific bliss
of Korine's films? Another favorite is Hong Kong director
Wong Kar-Wai (Chungking Express, In the Mood for Love, etc.)
My brother watched about 15 minutes of Julien before he had
to turn it off. Poor chap. I usually end up getting all
weepy at some point or other. Boo Hoo Hoo.

i'd love to see it but movies like this never find their way
into mainstream video rental shops

I got the Julien Donkey-Boy DVD from Hollywood video the
first time I saw it ( before I purchased it). Borders book
store should have it to buy ( That's were I bought it). Are
any of these stores near you? Worth it chief.

oh please, i still buy movies before i've seen them when it
really means a lot to me, eg:
-dark days
-the ring (japanese original)
and others. i just have to be REALLY desperate to see it.

julien is soooooo good....
but i like korine's gummo more, cause it's not so family
oriented, gummo is more acid and sick, absolutely crazy...i
used just to listen the sound of the movie few times....and
it rocked too!
