ill communication is their best, imo. they play instruments... WELL. some great sampling and jazz stylings there, as well.

i don't know if it's my standards have changed or what, but i don't like that new beastie boys track at ALL, and i loved all their new stuff even "Alive" america/hysterica? sounds really forced... i have a huge beastie boys poster from check your head in my room, and i still play paul's boutique all the time, but something about that track just seems half-assed. and if their new album or whatever is on the same level of that stuff, they should just leave it at hello nasty and the anthology. unless they want to make a lukewarm RESPECT US TRUE HIPHOP NEW SCHOOL, we are forefathers crap like run dmc's crown royal.
search for mac lethal's "pass the ammo" that's a decent wartime track, and of course mr. lif's emergency rations ep
