What accents do you like?

I was just thinking about The Streets album and realizing
that a lot of the reason i like it is because of that guy's
accent.
I am a sucker for the english accents (all regional
dialects).
For example, I think ladies with english or even scottish
accents are much more attractive than ladies with any
american accent. Infact, even ugly girls, often seem
attractive to me when they have an english accent. Minie
Driver (the actress) for example: without an accent (like
in Gross Pointe Blank) she is ugly to me. BUt with an
accent (good will hunting) good gawd she is hot.

so what accents do you like to hear?
i am especially curious about what English folk think about
the different American accents.

Welsh accents make me smile.

Americans accents don't bother me,its just the volume in
which they speak.
Loud and constant.Well, most Americans I've heard.

No offence.

southern american accents make a person sound dumb

East Indian accents are inherently funny.

Boston accents are funny too. but also kinda threatening.

i like the scottish accent too (im not scottish, im just
livivng in glasgow) very nice on women. i dont like very
strong, harsh scottish accents though, you cant understand
what they are saying

im not sure what all the fuss is with irish accents though,
its nothing special imo

i quite like american accents, the softer ones anyway, and
canadian also

belgian accents are the best (not a belgian speaking
english, but just belgian dutch... if that makes any sense).
I instantly fall in love when i hear a girl from belgium
talking... it's so cute! :-)

I used to live in Stranraer(Scotland) where people spoke in
broad Scottish accent mixed with Irish.
It was terrible, specialy when the spoke in Gaelic.

*shudders*

it also amuses me the way Korean girls elongate their vowel
sounds.

my mom is japanese. growing up and hearing her speak my
whole life, i cannot detect her accent though my friends
tell me she has one.

i like Tim Roth's american accent. to me it is obvious that
it is not his natural accent (he's english right?) because
it doesn't really follow any regional dialect. its like a
cross between the midwestern United States and New York
accents.

I heard Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was not so popular in
China because the actors all had unnatrually accented
chinese.
