Dreams about dying

Don't know what's wrong with me, but lately i'm often
dreaming about dying. Last night for instance i fell down
from the sky (like parachute jumping, but without
parachute...) The strange thing is that i closed my eyes (in
my dream, that is...) waiting for the impact. I clearly
remember that i felt quite relaxed falling down.
I've also dreamt a couple of times that i was slowly losing
my teeth, which seems to be also a message indicating that
you about to die.

Is it just me or do you have similar experiences?

shoot me.

losing teeth means that you evolve as a person, taking new
paths.

i am into lucid dreaming a lot and i use to get killed by
people sometimes, and YES it hurts. getting abused by
zombies hurts a lot too and it smells terrible.
dreaming can be nice too though.

scary situations which never end up getting to bad

I can't really remember that I ever dreamt about these
things before two months ago... Quite strange that this
happens so often now.

"evolving"

The only thing i'm evolving into lately is a very
frustrated, too hard working software engineer with way too
much responsibility for my age (which is 24). Maybe that
fucks me up...

maybe your job is the plane (or platform) you jumped
from....the outcome beeing if the landing would kill you or
not...maybe you feel your compromising....i dunno..anyway
ive always heard and read that these kind of dreams are a
positive sign...somewhere...

positive thing ;-)

I've had numerous dreams in which I've died. I'm 26 now, but
I've been having them since my very early teens. And when I
was even younger, I was able to lucid dream, though I had no
idea that it was anything special at the time. I've since
forgotten how.

Those dreams are interesting...but I don't normally try to
analyze them (which is ironic since I tend to analyse
everything else).

Dreaming makes me so sad because when im dreaming about
something so pretty and I wake up it's such a disapointment.

anyone been shot in a dream?
happened once to me. scariest thing. some guy was coming at
me with a machine gun, he shot me, i fell, then another guy
with this huge gun making this horrible jackhammer noise
came by and pumped me full of bullets. it hurt too, which is
what really scared me.
woke up to find out people were doing construction next
door.

i used to see dreams where i was killed by some freaky
zombise that had been my friends when they were alive.

also i see the falling-down dream but the strange thing
about it is that when the impact comes i feel physically
like i'd fall on my bed..

and i see alot of dreams wiht my bf shouting to me in anger

i hate my dreams. thank god i seldom see any.

I had a dream the other night that boys periodically shed
their foreskin and when it happens it's a big ritualistic
event in the bathroom where the whole family gathers and
watches it slide off and crumple up on the floor..
Interpretations?

Do your teeth sort of float out like you're submerged under
water? Or do they suddenly fall out? Or do you just know
that they're rotting by the taste in your mouth? Be
specific..

If you were me, I'd say these dreams meant you're losing
control over your life.

seen the movie "split second"? i have dreams that are
exactly like it, only 23x times worse. i get chased by an
anonymous killer... in an abandoned city of London...

a girl i know had a dream that we were on a ship, and when
she left me to go to the toilet, she came back and found
blood splattered all over the walls.
she ran around looking for me and got chased by people with
big sharp sticks.
meaning......?

interesting to read these interpetations...

some moths ago i saw a dream in which i died seven times.
different ways.
stabbed, beaten, shot, in a fire, drown in water, drown in
mud... in between the deaths i was running for my life
around the city night.

horrible horrible.

tied to a chair blindfolded while the captor hit nails into
my skull with a hammer. happy happy joy joy...

My sleep patterns are strange to say the least. I sleep one
night every 3 days. Normally its not after an arranged
bedtime. I just fall asleep somewhere and wake up wondering
what time/day it is.
I dream quite a bit when I do fall asleep. I guess its
becuase my mind sends me deep into REM sleep when it gets
the chance. Thats the stage of sleep you are in when you
dream. My nightmares usually have some ominous message or
thought/realization in them. Just like your tooth loss. When
I awaken Im not usually as disturbed about the notion as I
was in the dream.
The last dream I had was about a week ago. It was yuky.

Dreams about dying mean that you finished with something in
your life and that you are open for something new.

Kinda like hobbes said.

A changing in your life.

It s nothing bad.

Keep your eyes wide open.

Humans changing their whole life.

That s what life all about.

Experience and learning out of the mistakes to get to
another level.

It s all about tryin

my last dream was gross and bizarre... i remember eating
black hard things, like plant bulbs or dark stones, then
vomiting them, three times, in a toilet in a hospital with a
backwards door and other people waiting...

i know, it is gross, but i wonder if there are an
interpretation to this, vomiting in a dream °_°

(and about interpretations... are they reliable, or just
like superstitions?)

I had a dream that I was walking on the road because the
sidewalks were snowed in, and a bus came around the corner
and slammed me into a snowbank. The snow turned red and
chaos ensued.
