Jar you evil Welsh git ;P

What he said about Soulseek. It rocks. If you do go on there
then have a look through the chatrooms and you'll see
aphextwin.nu and xltronic in there. Log into both and you'll
see us all about there. Welcome to the board too.

Wasn't the Squarepusher set a bit of a surprise, like Tom in
his dressing gown or something. Hence, nobody was prepared
in order to be able to record it. And they were probably all
too mashed anyways.

I am sorry I must disagree with Jarworski, it does exist I
have see it on X-nap and downloaded the first two minutes.
This Soulseek thing is PC, no?. It is not really helpful
using a mac but thanks anyway. By the way I am not condoning
the duplication of copyrighted material.

I think you can get on soulseek with a mac, but you have to
either use virtual pc or a different version of soulseek...
dunno.

Oh well I've never heard of X-nap, maybe it's floating
around somewhere and I just haven't seen it. I will look out
for it though.

There is no way I am touching virtual PC with a barge pole.
Try http://xnap.sourceforge.net/ It is a peer to peer
sharing client. You can get most of AFX live appearances
eventually, it is just a bit of a drag with 56K modem
speeds.

i was there for Aphex and Squarepusher, great stuff, no way
i'd have recorded it, as was said, i was mashed. Aphexs set
was proper fucked frequencies, didnt recognize anything,
Sqps set was great, he was really hyped up, calling everyone
a cunt, played some harsh beats and his rqpping was, well,
unique.

he was rapping, well, shouting mad lyrics, something about a
twenty tonne megaton something or other, just him, a laptop
and box, with a bedside lamp. hard to describe, i was
twatted at the time, its all a bit foggy, as was the stage.

Aphex was the surprise though, it was early in the day, we
just walked round the corner to some intense frequencies, we
were like, what the fucks that, then low and behold there
RDJ at the side of the stage croud\ched over his laptop. it
was like, No, it cant be, it IS!! woohoo.

did anyone here see squarepusher play in the avalon tent in
99?? it was a realy weird set, nothing off any of his
releases. it started off very acidic then jungle beats were
put over the top! it was great! there were three people
aswell, squarepusher and two others, im guessing ceephax and
another person who could'v been yeeking! a real one-off!

Yeh! I was there that was banging. It is the only time I

hands in there ears.

lol

i remember lots of people getting up on stage aswell, then
being told to get off by security! it was a shame it was so
early, i think it finished about 8.30/9pm and we ended up
catching the end of 'Lardboy Shit' (not my choice) then the
chemical brothers who were both very slooooooow after seeing
the pusher!

other one had long hair. i was a little way from the stage
