I think autechre is pretty architectural music

I am listning to lp5 right now... and is lke feeling the
textures of the materials, wood, concrete, steel...
I also feel the space, the light...

DiaZoHeXagoN? (I know you will be the first to post here)

haha he beat me to it
Yeah I definitely know what you are saying, I have always
felt that LP5 was like architecture

When I went to Sci-Arch on some tour of the campus they were
playing Confield...from that moment on I knew I had to go
there

photek - modus operandi works very well with postmodern and
japanese commercial architecture.

strangely enough, in an autechre interview I read once, I
remember seeing the phrase "writing about music is like
dancing about architecture", and here we are relating the
two.

If it was an unconventional shape made of mercury and
gourmet candy maybe... architecture would be a better
metaphor for autechre's music in my opinion.

architecture a metaphor for autechre´s music?

I think it is the other way around

autechre´s music could maybe a be a metaphore for
architecture

i would agree slightly....

however i think that the covers of autechre albumn's
suggest architechre which influences the way we think....
which is fine....

every autehcre cover is like some sort of structure...
expect the blank covers of course..

ep7 = blueprints
confield = what was built
draft 7.30 = confield land attacked

i think even the uniform autechre covers have a strong
structure, their colors are magical, like a warm thing or
place..
