is far from over...

U.S. army launches military operation in Afghanistan:
BAGRAM, March 20: The U.S. army said it had launched a fresh
military operation in Afghanistan today with an air assault
south-east of Kandahar. "The White Devils of Coalition Task
Force 82 began Operation Valiant Strike with an air assault
at 6 a.m. this morning," the U.S. military said in a
statement issued at Bagram air base. "Valiant Strike will
consist of offensive operations south east of Kandahar."

I find it funny that Iran has taken america to court over
the Iran/Iraq war. Not that america ever pays attention to
International Courts or anything.

And America has been found guilty of War Crimes in Nicaragua
and El Salvadore but yeah who cares...

not fight... just to get in on the take.

Yes, I often think that certain *ahempussyCough* nations
that generally like to think of themselves as US allies
either act neutral or against US's actions so that if
terrorists do retaliate it won't be against them. They do
this safe in the knowledge that they needn't get involved in
the wars as the US/UK will do the dirty work for them.

"Valiant Strike" is such a funny name though. A bit like
"Honourable Battle". Smacks of middle aged tournament
speak/imperialism...

I'm glad the world is doing fine and that the USA aren't
bullies, and don't blackmail/bribe smaller countries with
offer of aid if they tow the line - that wouldn't be very
nice. I often wonder what the world would be like if it were
Matriarchal, as it originally was... you know, in the very
old days, the king used to be killed once a year, and a new
one married to the queen -- and interesting event, maybe one
that could be rekindled?

i thought tibbar was talking to me.

id rather be on americas side so that if they decide to
invade europe, we wont get such a raw deal as the french and
germans will

I'd never heard about it being matriarchal... got any proof
of that?

Besides women in power seem far worse than men- as if they
have to compensate for being women. I mean, look at
Thatcher...

yes, look at thatcher who was somewhat of a traitor to her
gender...of course, all women rulers must be like thatcher.
I don't have any proof, no, but I'm sure if you did a little
search you would find some...do a socioanthropological
search - it was that kind of book in which I discovered the
information I above quoted.

Yes, in a way I feel it wouldn't of been so bad if the UK
had united with germany in ww2. It would of probably ended
up there being 2 superpowers- Europe (Germany) and The US.
It'd be quite stable too I imagine. The ocean would make a
proper invasion impractical so they'd probably just get a
long.

Don't you think ritualistically killing people is a bit
barbaric?

Re: women in power (looks over shoulder in work) - just look
at female mangers, in order to get the seats of power they
have to be that much more pushy/domineering to get them over
their male peers...

Yes, because they live in a male-dominated society, so they
have to "become" males in order to rise - that was part of
my point homeboy! Kill men! I'm all for that! Let's hear it
for women! Give them a hug and let them heal the world!!

They have a tendency to flip out and do irrational things
for no reason though, then get all tearful about it later. I
wouldn't like a woman to have her finger "on the button"...

I think Marlowe's "point" can be seen thinly veiled in his
post- "Give them a hug" ;)

It's men that do it to them, we all know that! Women are
better than men, it's blatantly obvious! I'm off to The
Magickal World of Women, which is located some 200 light
years away...ahh bliss!
