i heard a sample version of some tracks off of drukqs and the track '54 cymru beats' begins off with a sample from an old atari 2600 game i used to really love when i was a kid, the game involved a spaceship and travelling to all different planets etc, and the sample is the sound your spaceship made when it went into warp drive.. anyway if anyone else is geeky enuff to have any idea about what im talking about here and knows the name of the game could they please reply, ive been trying to find the name of that game for ages now and its driving me nuts :) |

It sounds like one of the Activision games for Atari, possibly Demon Attack. Demon Attack had the flying to planets thing where you had to take off before the demons showed up, then you fought them in space on the way to the next planet. He uses more than one game sample in the tune. I think he also uses some from Adventure, Tempest and Frogger. |

i believe the game you're after is called "Solaris" its a real 'cult' game, many ppl consider it the best atari game ever made, along with being incredibly difficult.. heres some more info; http://members.tripod.com/skintigh/atari/solaris.html |
