Breezeblock last night

Good selection of tracks last night on Radio 1. Mary Anne
introduced Befriend a Childkiller (remix) as "a track that
makes Melt Banana look normal". And she played IV VV IV VV
VIII to finish off the show.

Can't wait until Autechre do a mix for them.

I've nbot tuned into that show for about 2 years now as I
only have a radio in the car so I'm never able to listen. I
should tune into the .ram stream as I really sued to like
the show. Especially during that period where she played
born slippy every night for about 3 months :)

Oh yeah, I completely forgot to say:
Go here now and vote for Squarepusher!

They are going to play one of the following ten shortlisted
mixes again on the radio. Currently the poll looks like
this:
Avalanches
( 22%)
Beastie Boys
( 10%)
Coldcut
( 2.5%)
Fatboy Slim
( 18%)
James Lavelle
( 2.5%)
Radiohead
( 5%)
Sigur Ros
( 7.5%)
Spiritualized / Jason Pearce
( 10%)
Squarepusher
( 18%)
Two Lone Swordsmen
( 5%)

*Cough* *splutter*, ugh the Avalanches, we can't let them
win. Nor Fatboy Slim. Actually I'm surprised at how badly
Radiohead are doing.

You should cruise round Bristol after midnight on a Monday
with the top down (well, with the windows open anyway) and
blast out some tunes.

I only know of that one mix that he did for the Breezeblock,
so I would imagine it is.
