I must say, i did not get his music at first, made my ears
hurt and my head explode....after 2 months of listening to
this guy, i must say he`s a genius. Songs like "Make Ronnie
Rocket", the whole Doll Doll Doll and Find Candace
lp`s........the guy is huge, and i could only realize that
after careful listening.

So, i can relate when folks come in here and say "i can`t
understand how can people enjoy venetian snares` music", or
say straight out that his music sucks. Either they are not
ready for such electronic assault, or simply not realize the
precision behind his records

To them i say that with the lack of genius in recent works
by Tom Jenkinson or Richard D. James, i`ll stick to the
flaming sounds, precision and controlled mayhem of the
Snares Man......and you should too.

[I prefer vSnares to squarepusher; in fact, he's my second
favourite electronic artist on the scene]

They're both very clever guys.

i know Verkrampte, although his collaborations with
Speedranch and Stunt Rock tend to be a little more
aggressive and less precise.

Making Orange Things though is impressive, "We Hate Russell"
totally changed my vision of electronic music

the snares man is currently begrudgingly selecting tracks
for a double cd release on hymen from a pile of remixes of
his track "intense demonic attacks". should be out later
this year.
there's nymphomatriarc first though, let's not forget

I enjoy all of Snare's music, and lately, I'm prefering him
for ANY type of electronic music. He does everything, a
Jack of all Trades.

in my experience, he indeed has a tendency to ruin one's
pallette for other musicians.. hence my highly regulated
listening of his works... ONE A MONTH

NO MORE, LEST YE RISK YER SOUL or sth
