Can someone pleas tell me how i manipulate break beats? Like record a dum loop then cut it up and change where everything goes...perhaps even creating snare rushes, i really need to know how to this. Any help would be really appreciated
Thank you

1 way: download modplug tracker, make a normal beat, have a lot of empty rows between each percussion sound (only put drums on every 8th row), then copy a bit here and paste a bit there, repeat repeat.

Basically, what i want to know is how to make a snare rush (perhaps Aphex style or Autechre style)

Have you tried what I suggested or are you going to ignore all the replies?

go to the sample editor and import short wav files, like drum sounds. then go to the pattern editor. click on the top left square next to the rows and columns. This allows you to change the number of rows. change the number to 16. go to "general" instead of "pattern editor" and make the speed be 125 and the tempo be 3 or vice versa, whatever. now go back to pattern editor and enter any drums to represent a pattern like this:
1232312312323113 now click on that icon that has two arrows seperated up there, it will expand the pattern. click on it again. then change the tempo to a higher speed like 250 and 3 or something. now go back and copy and paste.

cool. its super user-friendly, you can do gapper effects which you can custom, and variant effects which you can also custom. not too many effects, you should have your sounds kinda how you want em befor loading into tu2
