I 100% percent agree with wayout on this "Learning realistic drawing". learning to observe and draw what you see simply makes you better at drawing anything. gives you control.

I've known what surrealism is for awhile but havn't really sought any artwork examples. I guess what I drew is surrealistic but I don't really like being constrained by any specific definition or artistic cultural stereotype. I guess that's the wrong way to think about it. If you do something slightly different you can simply give it a new name and a new definition. Naming it allows similar things to be found easier. Those are cool links. I found this "surrealistic" internet story on accident by searching for made up words in google. It's great: http://www.quiet-time.com/fiddlehead/1.html
For all the people who have given me feedback since my last issue of thanks, FEAR NOT! You TOO will get an official thank you notice for your effort. It should arrive in the mail shortly. And mutant death pengwin, I baked you a nice warm batch of cookies. They are in my pants. Do I NEED to be any more frank that I want you to come in and eat them with me??
