I finally Got my T2 KORG Synth Hooked up with a midi interface!!!
I am running Windows XP. I want to finally start making some of my own serious tracks
What software should I download (I can get pretty much anything bootleg) to record from my synth to my computer? Basically I just want to be able to record, edit, and add effects. I was going to use protools free but they dont offer it for Windows 2000/XP. We all know what kind of music I want to make, so please, help me out. And if there are any other software programs you recomend I get, possibly for helping me make drumbeats let me know! Thanks.

Cubase VST might do the trick, it takes a while to really get into it, but i believe it's worth it! And if you can get it for free you could use HALION, the (quite) new VST-softsampler. I heard it's pretty good, also for drums.
