Cylob appreciation thread

Everyone gives the guy a really hard time. Why? He is one
of Rephlex's most prolific producers and has banged out some
really innovative stuff past and present.

Cylobian sunset was the first rephlex album i got and is
still one of my favourites. A lot of aphex influence but so
what?

Granted, he's released a few duffs but i saw him at this
tiny do about 18 months ago where he was headlining and he
played a great dj set too.

Obviously not everyone is going to like his stuff but to
make him an outcast is going too far.

Many styles, different from the rest, give the guy a break!!

i like the rewind rmx by dmx krew, muchbetter than the
original. Cylob is cool, i've been getting more into his
music lately

Phresch's list is a good list

for teh rest of his releases I'd recommend you'd buy before
you try...

Don't get me wrong. I DO like Cylob. I think Lobster Tracks
is great...!
I just do not like EVERYTHING (everything can be quite a lot
you know just like squarepusher)

Anyone into Mood Bells?
I've heard three tracks from it, a long time ago. Can't
really remember what I thought of it, then.

I've bought it on CD and after listening it a few times I
STILL do not know what to think of it.
Great CD to faal asleep to though... ;-)

Hm, so what does it sound like? Random bells, gongs,
reverb-effects and such?

Sleeping-music is great music. ^^
