I had a strange feeling when i heard the news of the
assasination of Zoran Djindjic. Democracy is such an
illusion.

Who is that, I though this was a weird misspelling of "DJing
in I.C."

Democracy is a veil that eats resources through its
associated beauracracy. If it was really implemented it'd be
a nice idea (although only that, the majority of the
populance are so stupid I'd hate to think what would hapen
in a true democracy).

I agree Ceri but on the other side, those who 'make'
democracy haven't always the ability to handle the power
given. In this case, organised crime won from democracy and
that's makes me sad. I might be a bit oversensitive about
this but with whats happining in the world has shaken my
already fragile look on democracy. The world gone mad and
it's the first time I have this strong feeling that we're in
the middle of some big history writing.

In a true democracy, the stupid populace would be kept
informed, and not kept in soporific suffocation by those in
power and the branches of their influence.

Funny coincidence -- it was the assassination of the Serbian
head of state that led to The Great War--and here we are on
the brink of War in the Middle East, and hey presto! one
serbian head of state shot!
