communication equipment for a cord and two tin cans

Hell, who needs these mobile phones anyway?!

sony something on voda.
It can take/make calls to my girlfriend.
It can take/send messages to my girlfriend.
It can store phone numbers.
This is all.

No it doesn't have the ability to take photos or play
amazing games. This is good because then I don't turn into
one of those morons virtually masturbing with his
phone-for-show in the bus. grr.

Nokia 5510... great phone! (the model is
more then a year old, I think, it was the
first model to play mp3s)
I have dropped it several times in the
ground... yet it continiue to work fine =)
just a couple of letters of the SMS-keyboard
sometimes works less fine.
But one hell of a phone.

Thank GOD I'm not the only one who hates them and won't have
one.

In Montreal everyone but me has at least two, even the bums.
Friendless homeless schizophrenics use two at the same time
so they can talk to themselves.

I think we have more phone boutiques in Montreal than
McDonalds and coffee shops put together.

Siemens SL45.

One of the best phones for battery life (not amount of
standby time- how many years the battery lasts before its
maximum charge noticabley decreases). HAs MP3 player, Java,
Midi and bitmap functionality, IR link, docking cradle.
Customisable animations/background.

I got mine for free as a hand me down :)

It's just the way they are being used these days.. I mean...
THERE FOR EMERGENCIES not Social chit-chat!

But mobile phones are essential if your at large festivals
and your mates piss off to the rave tent or some bullshit
like that. etc.

Yes, I keep them on at stuff like that and if I'm just
bumming around, but if I'm working on tracks/spending time
with a loved one it goes off.

The other thing that made me start carrying it (I used to
leave it at home as an answerphone) was when my car broke
down and I didn't have it on me.

installed...
