yeah this was probably a rush because they HAVE to be heard.
What has happened to the Beastie Boys?

They used to be about fighting for the right to party, now
in their wise old age they've found the need to become
politically motivated. I mean come on.

they sang this song this weekend at the FDF and it was ummmm
OK......

they were in serious need of rehersal.....they sounded
aiight but not tight. they stopped their rapping about 4-5
times because they forgot? the lyrics, lost their place, or
couldn't keep up with the beats the DJ was spinning .....HE
was excellent!

i was disppointed, i wouldn't mind NOT seeing them again, i
think their time has passed.......sadly

they were good, and that track was...meh...positive message,
but it sounds too... forced i guess. the lyrics are sorta
just stating everything we know already, i didn't think they
got too creative in writing the lyrics. not that i could do
any better, but i've heard much better from them. still a
good message though.

their new stuff is going downhill, it seems

i long for the days when they used to rap about drinking and
smoking pot and being stupid, like on licensed to ill, even
if it was all tongue in cheek.
