well some tracks i've heard by people here could easily be mistaken for autechres-they released tons of music and they started long time ago-got signed by warp and now they're having fun!
surely there's something about them since so many ppl like them, i just can see why...
i've heard almost all of their tracks, but none are stuck in my head-its all too much alike, hmm, i better stop hehe, while i still have some friends left :)

Personally, Autechre are my favourite music producers. EVER. I think they have a very distinct sound. I also think there is great variety within Autechres music. Those of you who can't tell AE songs appart. Think of it this way. There are people (uneducated people) Who can't tell AE and AFX appart. Doesn't mean they aren't entirely different groups

how on EARTH, can autechre be classed anywhere near pop music?
ae is for only a very small minority of the population. how many people at workl or college have hheard of them, let alone spend money on their records and try and dance to it?
