i was in HMV (Half-assed Music Variability) t´other day and there was some amazing crash-bang-wallop jazz shit playinmg that gave me all fuzzy tingles. i asked the clerk-type guy and he said "oh thats a Bad Plus cobver of Smells Like Teen Spirit".. IT WAS FUCKIMG COOL! cHECK EM OUT. I looked em up google-wise and fouind that they are a dydnamic live jazz act with amazing non-vocal covers of some great tunes... banging though!

Also look out for Dani Siciliano's (Herbert collaborator) cover of 'Come As you Are'.

What's this with frequenting bad music shops like HMV? I steer well clear of them if I can help it, except today when I tried to convince them to give me a copy of the Advanced Listening Opportunity Warp sampler that they have hidden behind the desk.
