I will only use Windows 2000 (NT5) for my working
environment but my secondary music computer has Windows 98
so I have the flexibility of Windows with good DOS support.

And you work in computing?

It was a gash os designed to be multibooting with
dos/windows if I remember correctly- back in the win 3.1
days. My mates computer had it. It was pants.

The Amiga was a fucking amazing computer, it just so happens
that Bill gates was a better sales man and Amiga had bad
management.

Amiga designed a home computer, it was a black/gray/white
tower system with a DVD burner and looked fantastic at a
very low cost. Apparently they halted production on this to
work on digital TV receivers just before Sky got the mass
sales on them so they put a load of money into that rather
then the computer and the result was both failed. It was a
bad idea to put production towards the digital TV receivers
when that home system would have been much more popular.
Amiga was not managed well at all but they have much more
sense now and the new AmigaOne systems look very good.

You Are Palm OS
Punctual, straightforward and very useful. Your mother wants
you to do more with your life like your cousin Wince, but
you're happy with who you are.

i never used a Palm, but that's ok!

OS/2 was actually very good in it's day. It multitasked far
better than NT3.5 / NT3.51.
It was mostly written by Microsoft for IBM. It was typically
used as an application server as it ran client-server
applications far more stabley than NLMs on Netware servers.

Win XP..... but once in a while i'll run my own OS, which
relly isn't much more than a thread scheduler, FAT32 file
access and a crappy text-based shell...

I wrote a simple boot strap routine and a 4-ring protected
mode kernel. Don't expect too much of it. It was only an
experiment to learn the stuff...
