Actually, that was beautiful. Screeching sounds, metallic,
sharp, howling throughout. Very nice.

Would you ever score a film?

i might make a short film surrounding this song, just like
bile's decription "sounds like someone raping a steel
factory with pliers and
chainsaws"

theres and old abandoned steel mill just between east perth
oval and the east perth redevelopment area. for thoses
living in perth its closest to the northbridge tunnel.

expect it finished in a few weeks

I'll check this out later in the week, I like both Flea and
Qrter's stuff so it should be good...

I only listened to "Father", but I'll give the others a
listen at somepoint too.

Did you use a lot of ring modulation for the metallic
sounds? Everything about the track is very sonorous :)

I found the track to be quite organic noise, more distorted
metal (the material, not the genre!) than digital noise.

As a bit of a cross reference to eXXalion's visualisation
thread, I'd like to describe the way I feel about the track
in terms of what it makes me see:

A small bi-plane, theathered by a steel cable to the
corrugated metal walls of a warehouse on an industrial
estate. It tries to fly away and reaches the end of the
tehter where it distorts the wall, but doesn't manage to
break free. After a bit of buzzing about, it does a 180 and
attempts to cut the steel cable using the propeller. Sparks
fly and metal grates :)

Seems we've both been doing visual tracks recently ;)

Oh yeah, I listened to this yesterday, and forgot to post :)
Another excellent track, possibly one of the finer ones of
this rerereremixing project :)

fatherTHING: applying innovative effects to a boring stretch
of sound. The boring stretch of sound part was probably
qrter's fault. That's because he's a sockless biscuit ninja
rejection.

Herbal Serenity Kava Kava Komplexkalm remixed: more
complexity that could use humor, symmetry or socks. I blame
the general socklessness of it on qrter again because he's a
sockless biscuit ninja rejection.

I present you a trophy for second place as IDM's leading
homosexual duo. Matmos got first place because they're a
cuter couple. I will make you a rotating animation of this
trophy that you can display on your respective sites to
prove your credibility to qtject newbies.

ta ta.

open to menage a trois...just as qrter demonstrated :o
yes I love you too...

you missed the subtle melodic tension carried throughout:)

Sorry, qrter and I decided to have sex without you
yesterday. Qrter's reason was that you are unsexy and bald.
My reason is that, though you are sexy, you are a giant
anthropomorphic (bald) hampster with rabies. I found it odd
that qrter was fairly indifferent to this last detail when
he made his decision.

well then I sit back and pine for all the good times I had
together with you wMw..before qrter and I tied the
knot...all the rabies afflicted body parts I suggestively
revealed..oh how we laughed and chopped them off...

ah..the good days..
