Music for the Island

There have in the past been topics like "if you had to rid
of all music except for one album.." or "you're stranded on
an island, what one cd do you take?" It occured to me that
that one album would lose it's appeal very fast and I would
eventually hate it, ruining the album forever. I would take
NO music! I would start a primal one man orchestra with
sticks and stones, eventually getting more creative and it
would WONDERFUL!

Just a thought.

of course the local lifeforms wouldn't be excluded from my
orchestra.

I'd step on different size frogs to get some nice melodies
going.

I'd shut up, build a raft and get off the island...

But that's me. ;) :D

i'm making the assumption that this scenerio involves an
extremely remote island, no chance of rafting it.

and on that raft, if you were to make one, wouldn't you play
music?!

if the island has electricity, why not just bring a bunch of
computers and synths and other music making equipment, youll
never get bored then......

and even if it doesnt and you get tired of that one album,
you could always read the complete works of shakespeare

Yes, for "Dessert Island discs" my luxury would be a 17" G4
i-book loaded with music software :)

You'd get really good I reckon. Or go mad...
