I'd been playing guitar since I was about 8 years old, but the first time I ever heard "Paradise City" by Guns'n'Roses, that was the first song that really got me interested in seriously playing. (even though I actually hate that band, I always liked that one song) So, what was your first song? It doesn't have to be the first song that got you interested in playing an instrument, but maybe just the first song that got you interested in IDM, for example. |

And I didn't give half a shit about music until grade 9, I guess Metallica probably got me into it heavily, and now it's everything. I have no fucking idea what I did before I was obsessed with it. |

The first song that made me fall in love with electronic music was the tune from Wonderboy on the arcade back in 86. I remember that while everyone was fighting to see the game being played, I just sat next to the cabinet listening to the sounds. |

1979 by the smashing pumpkins not so much the song...but that one part where the melody changesup and hes singing "faster than...the towns below.." "faster than...the speed of sound..." it fuckin blew my mind it was so damn lush, i had siamese dream before that, but after that song, i became a hardcore music fan...pumpkins got me into afx twin...i owe them everything really |
