Aphex Twin midi/sheet music

I just started a project to dictate all of James' melodic
songs. So last night I did two of them from the SAWII. The
idea is not to make complete transcripition, but to
catalogue his melodies and harmonies in a reduced form.

But I also thought I should look around for existing midi
files. Anyone have any? Anything will do. I can email the
ones I just did--- (Rhubarb, Curtains)

thats a good idea.

i like the idea of the midi files, then being able to assign
your own instruments and effects to the tracks but not
change any of the structure of the original tune.

sorry i cant help though

Good idea! I would like to try to put something into midi
myself. I'm gonne try Alberto Balsam and On a romance tip.
Did you do the rythmic work to or just the melody
arrangment?
Would you send yours please to k_switch@skynet.be
?

i just take the melodic/harmonic material--- without all the
repetitions. so it's bare bones stuff but enough to study.

Cool idea.. I'm obsessed with the beauty of sheet music and
i've thought about transcribing afx's music (it'd be great
if someone was determined enough to transcribe perhaps the
rhythmic lines of songs such as mt st michael but i don't
see it happening ;) ) but haven't had the time. If you get
anything written up, please gimme an email at smiley0 [at]
myrealbox.com ... cheers.

I only need the MIDIs to extrapolate(or whatever...) the
sheet music.
