Has anyone used this software? Does it have the capability
of producing beats solely from the software without outside
samples? How do you guys use it

very carefully.... you got to tweak em soundz. reason is
good, when used properly. tweak tweak tweak. or you'll
sound like a preset freak.

u can use the subtractor synth to create kick, snare, hihats
etc..and connect the souns to separate channels in redrum. I
use both Reason 2 and Cubase SX. I prefer Cubase as it has
endless possibilities (vst-instruments & effects)plugin) But
on the other hand, Reason interface is easy and fun to use.
