I been there...not exactly informative about artists
(compared to dedicated sites)...but as a general reference,
it's quite plausable...

I love it. Sure, if you wanna know a really DETAILED account
of an artist you love, it might not suit...but I love the
way I can look up ANYONE (even some of the more obscure
artists I'm into, like Gabor Deutsh or whatever) and it'll
come up with a little biography and album reviews.

And, their reviews are better than most, imho.

excellent resource. yeah, their reviews tend to be more
objective than most.

I go there like every day... a great resource for general
info. Anyone notice the new feature where you lay your mouse
over an album link and a little thumbnail of the cover comes
up? Specfabulous.

I don't know if it even got to the test copy stage. I think
it was to contain all the Warp singles and eps. Someone
(jand/joyrex) posted some information about it here a while
back.

That sounds about right, except for Gak. I don't think
Girl/Boy was in it either because it is on the Japanese RDJ
album, just like the US version.

i use it all the time. if there was a page that had the
range of electronic focus of discogs.com and the
functionality of allmusic.com, that would be perfect.
