I had mono. I contracted it fro this girl who I hooked up with who had it and didn't tell me. You get it from saliva, sexual fluids, or blood. You feel very tired, wornout, high fevers, sweating, restless, halucinate, vomiting, it's not fun, I had it for 3 weeks. When those symptoms are done, it stays in your system for an average of 3 months so if you do have it for the sake of others please don't have relations with others or share their drinking glass. what asche said, but there are various reactions to it. my throat was so swollen i couldn't swallow more than a few times a day (water, applesauce) for at least a week. that means i didn't swallow saliva. i drooled all night long. plus i was jacked on codeine. also to note is that it can range from unnoticeable to extremely severe. the girl i got it from told me not to worry 'cause her docter told her it was the mildest case he'd ever identified. my doctor told me it was the worst case. |
