"Well, come on," exclaims Phil, "it's not a hard job is it,
sitting chatting to people? I've done some shitty jobs in my
life and I can tell you, talking about what you've just done
creatively isn't hard. Who am I to complain about having to
do an interview?"

I have to say I agree. Autechre's and other IDM musician's
views on the press often confuse me.

hm i bet you'd change your mind if you had 5 interviews a
day during the whole of your european tour. of course you
have to try to stay nice and inform your loyal fans but
having to repeat the same thing over and over can become
quite irritating i imagine. now if every interviewer
actually came up with decent questions... :)

Hmmm...you have a point I suppose. But still, it's something
you have to pay for...I'd be willing to do it any day! ;)

There's always the left jab-right hook combination, if
things get too intimate.
