You may be asked to redo your piece.

When it is your turn, I will send you an email letting you
know, with the two previous artists' pieces attached. When
you are done, send it to me and dolleater through email or
aim/icq whatever.

Keep this thread up so people know who's turn it is and so
that everyone knows this is actually happening..

Monoid.. no one should start on their track until they hear
the two tracks before them.. do not give us a track that has
nothing to do with the previous recordings

you people know this idea was STOLEN right?! I hope you do,
I hope you all know that you are a miserbale bunch of lyeing
thieves without an indivdual bone in your body. You could
have at least named it something else.

i think all will be forgiven and the whole thing will be
dropped if proper credit is given to soulseekrecords(.com)
for the original basis for this competition - its a little
price to pay dont ya think?

SoulSeek was credited in the original topic...

Yeah actually the idea was completely original. For the
record I have no objection to you guys doing a massacre,
because it's a load of fun to do. You could have tried to
be a bit more original with the idea though.

Here...

offline corticalstim from Canada on 2003-02-21 17:54 [#00565473]

i dont think that a mention in the original topic is enough
credit - a link to slskrecords on each topic and the final
product seems fair to me

yea, "this idea originated on soulseek and i think we should
try our own" or something to that tune...

offline theo himself from +- on 2003-02-21 17:58 [#00565490]

soulseek's thing was like a mixtape.. or like a
compilation.. this is like one segmented track by over 20
different people

Points: 12 Status: Addict | Followup to theo himself: #00565490

Uh, no it wasn't theo, the soulseek thing was produced
'live' as well. People didn't just use stock tracks and mix
them together, each track was created when the producer's
turn came on the list.

offline theo himself from +- on 2003-02-21 18:01 [#00565500]
Points: 3348 Status: Regular

Uh, I listened to it Superbo, there were plenty of fade-outs
and disjointed "transitions" from one track to the next.

offline MrSuperbo from Glasgow (United Kingdom) on 2003-02-21 18:03 [#00565503]
Points: 12 Status: Addict

Yeah that's the fault of the individual producers. You'll
get people doing that as well, mark my words.

Also, why does www.soulseekrecords.com not received any
message that you were doing something very very similar to
our OneMinuteMassacre....something that had his origin on
the guys that created 1MM????
