Smashing Pumpkins - Ava Adore because i associate this song with someone i know and like :) Nine Inch Nails - Reptile ok, anti-love song maybe, but. because i love the lyrics and the dirty industrial, wet, rusty, etc. feeling of the song. i can relate to "need to contaminate, to alleviate this loneliness", when i flood messageboards with my silly adolescent crises or when i talk to anyone, annoying them with my problems etc... but all the lyrics are brilliant in this song (even if it is always gloomy/almost caricatural, but almost all NIN are...) ...is there a Coil song i can think of which could be considered as a love song? Tenderness Of Wolves, anti-love song maybe... their funeral-like cover of Tainted Love... Slur is a great track but not really love... The Anal Staircase? not really but... feelings expressed in Coil songs are too complex for just "love" i think. aww, i'm always with the same bands!! +_+ |
