I can notice a big reverb that dosnt let me pump up the volume too much... is this normal?

dunno... the sound is just fine with me!
(i especially like the metallic ??? in [white blur I], it sounds so real, like the instrument is just behind you!)

Is it an analogue recording or digital,I know alot of the old stuff is obviously analogue.

i've noticed this as well, although the effect is lessened on good stereo systems.
actually, the treble seems too high on some tracks if turned up loud, and yeah, the reverb can be kind of harsh. only solution is to play it on a really good system or headphones.

either you play this cd at really high volume or you have a bad copy
i tryed it out at pretty high volume and it seems to be working normal
could also be just intentional thing... i don't know :)

i think i listened once, and it sounds like its distorted because its been recorded at too high a level. Clipping, or whatever people like to call it.
oh well, might listen to it when i go to bed. night....

yeah, that one is working pretty good but it is an old material, so its not perfect i can play it pretty loud though, and it sounds ok i guess

actually at certain loudness i can hear little reverb, but when i play it a bit louder i cant hear it anymore

perhaps the tone is at a frquency thats resonating with your speakers. try it on a different hifi and see if its different. (at the right frequency the body of your speakers starts vibrating audibly) The first track off amnesiac does this to my little portable cd player.

not the resonance thingy, the clipping disto, it comes a lot when there is sweeping effects from the various filters,phasers,flangers,reverbs,etc... culminating, i find it really pleasing and always thought he did it on purpose cos it ousnds right...
