what Bush administration is planning will make it come to
that..the WWIII is not gonna be as you or I or anyone
pictures it...by trying to polarize the world..they fanning
more more cauldrons of discontent all over the world...WWIII
is a world rife with terrorism...

Bali incident..had nothing to do with AlQaeda and is a prime
example of the fact..That War on Terrorism..is only sowing
more seeds for breeding more terrorism...

under a democracy USA has already destroyed two towns with

Iraq must not have those weapons, but neither any (ANY)
other country

It does prove something, it proves Saddam has killed lots of
his people since the mid-80s. The post I was replying to
said he hadn't.

of course sadam is a danger... but we cannot and must not
destroy a country for that

and again:

usa governors have also killed lots of people since 1945

The dossier contained good content provided by SIS, however
this got overlooked because some monkey in Downing Street
decided that it need some 'filler' from pages 6 to 16 so
stuck in the plagiarised material.

I dare say SIS were none too impressed ;)

yes there's no denying his genocidal tendencies..
but worse offenders are lving out their lives in luxury as
guesrts of the State in th US..Miami to be precise..

and Nazi's?...well all the scientists went on to get
employed in the US nuclear weapons programs and NASA..
all the psychiatrists created the framework of the US and
most of the Western worlds..mental health programs..

so Saddam..is not an exceptional case..

i totally agree with that, i'd like to see if there were no
weapons

but it is surely more dangerous if the lunatic dictator like
sadadm have access to those weapons than some democratic
country
all i was trying to say ...

A Democratic Country like..say the US?...
Bush got in on rigged ballots..
Peaceful protests are quashed forcibly and
relentlessly..(Seattle anyone?)..
Homeland Defence is ensuring that absloutely no one's
privacy is safe...
1000's of legal immigrants were held without any legal
proceedings for months..
50,000 US Iraqi's are due to be pulled in for questioning
and kept tabs on...

Democracy?
I beg to differ..

i agree on that too, i dislike current american policy alot

but really you can't equalise the danger threatening from
iraq or US

here's another point of view:
where would you prefer to live US or iraq?
i personally would pick iraq, but only because of the
scennery :)
and i would never want to live in US...

I have lived in the US..lovely people..but the idea that
absolutely everything that I did..from applying to
Universities to buying toilet paper..was all getting logged
under a single set of digits..(Social Security Number)..was
miighty creepy and unsettling...

Well, I didn't think you would be choosing Iraq for it's
standard of living, healthcare, educational opportunities,
commitment to freedom of expression or human rights record
;)

Mind you, I can't say vast expanses of sand really appeal to
me :P

but they know what books I check out of the library(let's
say the Anarchist Cookbook)..what videos I am
watching....what I am buying from the Pharmacy or the
Hardware Shop...

and of late things like that can get you in
trouble..especially if your origins are
from..ahem...Afghanistan..

Health Care and Education was State funded and of prime
quality in Iraq pre Gulf War..better then what most
Americans get I believe...same is true of most of the
wealthier more stable Arab countires..Saudi Arabia..UAE etc
etc..

thats why world needs people like aki kaurismaki

when he was invited to some festival in US, he refused to
go, because some director from iran was invited as well, and
they didn't allow him to enter US

so aki was like: ok, im not going, im getting the idea im
not wanted neither, and he stayed in finland (and get drunk
probably hehehe)

well you need a Social Security number to do anything..Bank
Accounts..Drivers lisence...Rentals..and you need two forms
of ID to buy anything if not paying cash

i was there. -12C though but it was worth it.

i had a cardboard thingy with 'bush is sauron'-text, and
then i gave it to one little boy who liked it :) he also
added 'blair is saruman' to it

hmm..actually it is as bad...cash transactions in general
are actually frowned upon..millions of reasons are given to
encourage checking and electronic transactions..mugging is
often cited by banks etc when you open accounts plus you
need a credit card for renting cars, checking into hotels
etc..

if Iraq haven't dissarmed for 12 years i don't really have
any sympathy for them. They could have dissarmed years ago

I just came from the demonstration:

2 million people (the organiser numbers)
600.000 people (the goverment numbers)

so I dont really know how much we were, but I dont care, we
were a lot and I am happy that so many people wanted to say
NO to war

its funny how numbers change depending on the source

but well:

the average between 600000 and 2 million is:

1300000 and it is quite a lot
(out of 4 million total in madrid)
