i want to discuss with the other people who have heard the promo cassette, how they licked the songs. xylin room: i don't know. usually autechre' s first song on a lp was average. i don't like it. little boring IV VV IV VV VIII: nice short song. like it much. but good that it's not longer. 6ie.cr: oh shit ! this song is fuckin impressive like it alot more than pen expers, and it has a similar style... the rest ? still downloading :) updates will be soon |

so fsckin beautiful. ive only just received it from a mate who i posted the ftp link to the emotional side struck me straight away.. and its not letting go its immediately my favourite electro release theyre keepin it real interesting and new.. as always! holy fsck its 5am and my diaphragm is dancin.. i dont know how anyone can put this release down. im excited, inspired, and grinning from ear to ear. well done sean and rob, fskin well done! |

All I can say is that AE made another masterpiece!!! A true CLASSIC electronic album. I cant wait until april!! I want the real copy with cd quality! ;) |

V-Proc is the most breathtaking thing I've heard from them, at least for the first minute or so... it settles into a pretty standard (if you can call it that) psycho hip-hop groove later, and it's good... but that intro that kills me. |

Let me quote Autechre.. Sean sayin this about Confield: "We had a lot of trouble cutting this album to vinyl," says Brown. "Some of the tracks combine very high and very low frequencies with rapid dynamics between the two. You can do that with digital gear, but analog doesn't respond as quickly. We're almost considering making customized CD and vinyl releases because some tracks suffer in vinyl form." I mean a analouge tape cassette or even worse mp3s made of that tape is not fair, its gonna be a new experience in april, im 100% sure yall gonna hear new sounds n stuff when u get the cd with top sound quality :) IM STARVING!!! |
