(album). ok, i've got all E.N regular albums now, and this one must be the harder to get into! it sounds very sick and disturbed - more than Kollaps. especially the first part of the album. for example 'Finger und Zähne' is the shortest track (9 seconds!!) but i may not tolerate it if it lasted any longer, it makes me almost feel pain for the noise it is (noise of fingers and teeth, yeah, i'm very sensitive to this)! this is just an example of the ambiance, the rest is more worked but still as harsh as a rusty razor blades and as comforting as these rusty razor blades in the bleeding hands of an exorbitated psycho staring at you! seriously, if the band didn't have psycho issues when they made this album, they're very good comedians. this sure needs time to get into but it might just be very good once "assimilated". first impressions are rarely the best. |
