For Alternative/grunge rock the album is Nirvana -
Nevermind...

what do you think the Most Influential Electronic Album *OF
THE 1990s* is??

my vote = Aphex Twin - Richard D. James Album

I was never the biggest Nirvana fan, but I do agree, that
album is a lot better than Nevermind.

in utero was good but nevermind has more beautiful
songs.songs more unique.each song is a story.in utero is
great and the bonus track(gallons of rubbing alchool flow
trough the strip is my fav nirvana song ever)
by the way i think the nirvana record i played most is
bleach.
it's the album that introduced me to REAL music.

nervermind was actually grunge-FM - which is good when made
by Kurt Cobain and produced by Steve Albini. Isn't it Steve
Albini who produced the last GY!BE opus ??

Influential to me would have been;
Trash - Where The Fuck Is Mr Million? [nofuture]
That pretty much got me into independent techno more.

It's pretty good like. Got Yeeking on and a lot of fucked up
experimental techno music.

It has www.no-future.com on the back and www.nofutre.com on
the inside. It has a pic of this odd looking guy with a
'fuck goa trance' t-shirt on and the front of the CD it has
a photo of a bin exploding. It's really cool. Cost me £4.

hey quoth
have you ever heard this band?they're name's NIRVANA
and they're great.they're grunge,their singer committed
suicide almost 10 years ago. i think you should check the
album "nevermind"out.
really good stuff.

It basically goes off in all directions musically. You have
Detroitish style noise tracks with thumping bass and a wide
selection of drill and obscure techno. It's well worth
having but I have no idea if you can still get it. I think
'nofuture' is spymania now? dunno.

7- Metadata - Hardy Spymania vs Modi Jenson is a classic to
me. }:>
