OK, I want everyone to name the 1 book that totally blew
your mind when you read it...
weather it be the way you look at the world was changed or
just such an evil story it twisted ya....

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

I would have to say Crime And Punishment, the first time I
read it, back in the winter of 93/94...the entire time I
read it I was living it--I didn't wash, barely slept, and
felt acutely the guilt that enslaved young raskolnikov--and
also the book fired my love for Dostoyevsky!

Another book was Cosmic Trigger III by RAWilson, which
introduced me into that side of things back in 96.

no one really 'blew my mind'.
but i really liked 'empire of the ants' by b. werber.
apart from that, the discworld episodes by t. pratchett are
pretty funny/enjoyable and catchy too :)

but i don't read much... not a lot at all.

No, it's fiction by Vladimir Nabokov (Guy who wrote Lolita).
If you mean is "Put my life into perspective more than it
was." true, yes it is. Apart from it didn't make me fancy my
non-existant sister :P

I Started it a while ago. I don't know where my family's
copy is though...

I've been meaning to buy a copy. I've got it on DVD. Is the
book much different to the film?

Nabokov's autobiography is absolute class too. Well worth
getting. It also got me out of trouble with some
Greek customs officials, but that's another story :)
