......on Alive in Japan .....is THE best. if you can´t get
a natural high while listening to the slow build up of this
tune then you ain´t hearing enough braindance my freinds!!!

The highlight of Squarepusher's output.

live is unreal.. he slows down the bassy intro oh so
nicely... its grinding and teases out your anticipation of
whats to come then ..... bam! drops the jungle breaks on
yer ass BIGTIME! You can tell he was born to play live and
stretch out all the lovely noisey bits of his tunes to wrap
around the crowds collective brain.

he HAD to release a live album, cos it is where the mans
soul resides. No fucking other live act can touch his
energy... its that simple....... (although autechre and RDJ
live are pretty damn equal but in different ways..
Squarepusher is a punk at heart i think)

did anyone see the show at glastonbury in 1999 at the avalon
stage? that was superb, lots of acid jungle, none of it from
his albums!

especially the part where its all nuts and then it just
DROPS into that sweet bassline again (bow-bow-bow-ba-bow).
the part in the bassline where it sounds like a gapper
effect is SO awesome, i try to hum it but i cant do it fast
enough!

I agree he couldn't have done it better live! It was fun to
hear him toying with it and it was toying with me!

i would suck cock to see the mans analogue gigs.. live bass
etc.... His digital set is all i´ve seen live in Dublin
last year. (i went to Sonar to see him 4 days later but he
didn´t show up)
Dublin gig was similar to AiJ but for his encore he played
"Cmon my selector" after the crwod shouted up "im the
fucking daddy.. im the fucking daddy" after Angstrom Feck 4.
CAN YOU IMAGINE the high i got when he dropped BAM BAM
BAM-BAM!!!
