I'm sure this has been asked a billion times before, but what software/hardware do you guys use to make your tunes with??
I've a Akai S6000, a crusty old Korg X3R, Reason, Acid, Cubase and loads more. I always end up using Reason over any of the hardware stuff simply because i hate cubase and Logic confuses the hell out of me.
My new favourite trick is to lash something like a cymbal sample into a program called Granulator, set loads of the parameters to random, record the ensuing mess, chopit up in Recycle and Ta Da! Ae-esq sounds at my fingertips :)
Anyone else got any tips or ideas they're willing to share??
