 | You obviously haven't heard much from the sixties then. There was lots of experimental bands in the sixties. Lennon
 was just dipping his toe into experimental music. As his
 increasingly embarrassing solo career displayed, Lennon's
 creative powers were disappearing.
 
 If he were alive today he'd be on his umpteenth sponsored
 Beatles re-union tour, singing "she loves you" and "help" to
 octogenarians.
