I haven't really seen people talk about this release that
much. I think its just AWESOME!

I would have to say I like the DJ Pierre - Box Energy Remix
the best, but both tracks are way ROCKIN and the track, 808
State - Flow Coma (AFX Remix) SHAKES MY BOOTY!

If this release doesnt make you get up and shake it..
nothing ever will!

Some of the sounds he uses are similiar to some of the
tracks in drukqs, some people think thats a bad thing, but I
think its NEATO!

I think this just proves to show the man can kick out an
awesome remix or two! I cant wait until his remix album
drops (even though I have most of the tracks)

This release was brought back to life for me when I started
to play it at 33rpm ;)

haha!

:D

I was spinning this at a small shindig and people started to
get funky on the floor, when I dj sometimes I like to hold
off and play the faster stuff near the end, and watch the
drunken people try and groove to this.. hehe

A very good release from the o so mysterious Men Records

Yay!

My reaction to these remixes was: Is it so hard to come up
with something new??!?! In desperate need for new great
melodies he fills every bar and track with tons of details
instead, which just makes them unlistenable... Breakbeat &
acid. What?s next? Disco? Blues?

i agree with avart (mostly, i wouldn't call them
unlistenable) but these remixes simply rock! better than
most drukqs stuff in retrospect, although i was kinda
disappointed when they first came out

Netlon: Yeah - a tb303 is hard to ignore, it rocks no matter
how many times you have heard it...

Track Tne : Mixes with Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club
Track Two : Mixes with Get Around or Sould Bossa Nova
Track Three: Great for some scratching.

Overall : This release rocks like a bitch. Mickey is spot on
with his praise. I love this record.

Track 3 is a beepmap. Hidden encoded data. You will never
crack it.

Seriously? That's very cool. If I had any idea whatsover on
how to crack I would give it a whirl.

mixing tip:
1. play track 2 as normal..
2. When the vocal comes in
("´old on, ´old on..."), then lash on
Kill Robok by Squarepusher and cross-fade between the 2
tracks at lighening speed through for the rest of track 2
3. when track 3 kicks in it acts as a rushy kinda break from
the beats.....
4. Angstrom Feck 4 then kicks in at high speen and you´re
in heaven!!!!!

It IS frickin' awesome, and so are the original,
''Un-AFXed'' tracks. That first track makes my brain hurt.
