I've been listening to Papua new Guinea a lot lately, so I
went looking for more fsol (on kazaa :-/ )
I d/led the song domain, (VERY BEAUTIFUL!!!!) and I was just
wondering...
Is that the melody for Bach's Canon in D ?...?

That canon is one of the most beautiful classical pieces
ever written, and I know it very well, but I just can't tell
'domain' is based on it or it's just a coincidence.

Anyway

What other fsol songs should I check?
What album do I have to buy?

Lifeforrms is a must have. but listen to it as an album not
as a bunch of songs.

I like their albums, apart from "the isness" which i'm
afraid i'm not compatible with.

I'm really into FSOL, have alot of their albums. Each one is
really good so you can start anywhere, since you like pappa
neu guiena so much you should just get accelerator ( excuse
my spelling) although I haven't checked out the issness
yet...

accelerator is a must and the cd-single with eight versions
of "papua" the albums are quite crappy imo. Also worth
checking out is a compilation of early tracks (as mental
cube and others) hard t find tho...

Stakker humaniod is classic acid!

I love ISDN, its really atmospheric...it was produced by
being broadcast through an ISDN network live...

Papua New Guinea is from the album Accerlarator..

Papua New Guinea; Translations, Cascade Single, ISDN, and
the Accelerator 2CD release are all ace releases.

I love Blue States remix of Papua New Guinea, so very good.
