Do you like Selected Amient Works II?
Ok, try to open Winamp and play the following playlist:

1. On (28 mix) from On remixes
2. Track11 from ABB3 (only CD version)
3. Stone in Focus from SAWII (only vynil version)
4. i from SAW 85-92
5. Gwarek 2 from Drukqs

You will listen a perfect Selected Ambient Works ep with
same SAW II style.

\/\/.

Maybe if you rip the SAW I and II tracks and apply some
crazy FX on them like ring modulators, overdrive and
changing sample rate :)

Woofer: that's because On 28mix, Track 11 from AB3 (which
also appears in the background of a Caustic Window Track)
are both outtakes from the SAW2 files Richard created in
that era.

There's also this rare ambient track called "Analouge
Bubblebath 3" which i have in 192kb/s mp3. i'm not talking
about track 11 from ABB3 album. tho they are both very
similar

For some reason when I saw the name of this topic I thought
it was some new aphex twin saw, but no, just you fools
coming up with stupid winamp playlists ;) jk. Anyway, my fav
aphex stuff is the ambient works, thus this is an awesome
discussion. Quino phec is grade A.

On 28 mix and track11 from ab3 are 2 between best ambient
tracks made by afx.

i fell asleep to stone in focus or shotly after so many
times,
i burnt several saw2 selections for sending me to sleep.

funniest thing ever is to listen to Tassels
and totally get into strange planets surface, if after that
song a chilly one follows song you fall asleep in one
minute... 8}

Tassels is probably my fav between all SAWII tracks

quite a fine selection, although I would substitute Gwely
Mernans for Gwarek 2.... it sounds more like a proper Saw II
track

Yeah, i could be agree... background of Gwerly Mernans is
really ambient.
