Sorry to bug you but I was wondering if you know the name
of the song played in the velvet room?

Well, I'll be damned...how did you figure it out....

Not off the tip of my head, but I can find out easy enough.

Well, I know for a fact that the song is old, the composer
just mixed it. On the soundtrack it's simply called "Velvet
Room."

I should be getting the Soundtrack by next week, so if your
unable to find it, I'll be able to rip it. Also, perhaps in
the linear notes I might be able to come across the original
composer.

As for Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, I thought it was a
really good game. I haven't played it in a long time, since
I was just trying to level my guys to 99.

Be on the look out for Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne. It's
due out next month in Japan. Although not a Persona, it's
pretty similar....now if only ATLUS would decide to localize
it.

What were you thoughts on Persona 1?

Thank you for helping me out. I really love that song, not
to mention the other songs played in the velvet room in 2.

The first Persona is one of my favorite games I own. I
liked everything about the game expect the endings. The
music is incredible and the story line was really good. I
was attempting to get my guys to 99...I wanted to see
lucifer.

Somehow I never made it 99 which is strange for me because I
usually always max out my guys, oh well. Anyway, it is a
quality game.

Any other RPG's you like?

Also I hear you are the guy to talk to when it comes to
things involving Plaid. How is Black Dog? I haven't really
heard much except for what is on trainer.

and I promise I'll shut up now but what is your favorite
album by plaid?

Sorry for bumping this old thread...but I was still
wondering about black dog

Whoops, I never saw that response.

As for Black Dog, they're (and I mean Black Dog material
when Ed and Andy from Plaid were present) awesome. If your
a big fan of older releases on warp and the like, I highly
suggest you check them out.

As many will have seen, 'Bytes' is one of my favorite albums
to date. If you have access to Soulseek, try downloading the
songs Merck and Heart.

Also, just recently, I got my hands on 'Parallel' and the
album is tight. From what allmusic says, it's a collection
of tracks Pre-Bytes, so figure before 1992.

I've been listening to it nonstop now for a couple of days.
The song 'Parallel' is AMAZING, without a doubt one of the
best songs of recent memory.

As for my favorite Plaid album...I guess it would be
Trainer. The balil tracks on Disc 2 are very good. (and go
figure Disc 2 has problems in various Cd players)

btw, did you play Persona 2?

Yep, I love that game, though I haven't finished it yet.
I haven't had much time to play games lately, school has
been killing me.
I hope the ending is a little better than the first.

Ah, I see. Well just wait till the summer. Then you'll
have some more free time. As for Persona 2, Did you happen
to like that sweet drum 'n' bass track that's played in the
beginning on that dirt path up to the psyche ward. ( The
one with the donation box)

oh yeah that is a really cool track...most of the music from
the persona games are awesome!

Damn right, sweet music, awesome character designs, and
tight presentation.

Not your typical RPG by any standards, now if ony 'Shin
Megami Tensei: Nocturne' would come out.

Do you like any of the FF games?

offline revpersona from Plainfield (United States) on 2003-02-20 20:15 [#00563844]
Points: 3167 Status: Lurker

Yeah course, I have all that were released domestically, and
I'm awaiting Origins to be released.

I wonder if FFXI will ever come out, I know they just
started closed beta testing, but hmmmm.

knew more about XI!
I applied to squaresoft not that long ago...never heard from
them though

What bastards, the gamefaqs FFXI board has some nifty
information scattered about.

Oh yeah, think this Square/Enix merger might produce a
'true' Chrono Trigger sequel?

offline DiaZoHeXagoN from The city of angels (United States) on 2003-02-20 20:23 [#00563855]
Points: 2659 Status: Lurker

I hope so, The first chrono trigger game is one of my
favorite square games...Chrono cross was pretty good, but
just strange somehow

Have you heard "in the brink of time"? It's like some jazz
group covered some songs off Chrono Trigger. Some of it's
really cool in my opinion.

I don't really know what to think on the Square/enix
merging, I really liked starocean but how is enix all
around?

Well, Dragon Warrior VII was very long, and kinda boring,
but nice old-school RPG.

Star Ocean was sweet, and the new one looks nice.

As for the jazz group covering Chrono Trigger songs, no I
never have, but I'm interested.

Its pretty cool for the most part, but really hard to
find...I have them in MP3 format and would share them with
you, but I unfortunately don't use Soulseek. infact I know
very little about soulseek, is it kinda like Kazaa?

offline revpersona from Plainfield (United States) on 2003-02-20 20:33 [#00563864]

yeah, for the most part, think more along the lines of
Napster, it's actually very straightforward.
